The Vision

"It's hard to imagine a town without a library. Culture and knowledge should be accessible to everyone."

Today, information is available on any smartphone. The abundance of books in one space is no longer as essential as before. What is required is for the administration to offer its citizens new types of knowledge and skills.

Neil Gershenfeld described FabLabs as libraries for a new literacy. Every city should empower any citizen to understand, learn or create almost anything.
